Funny enouth I got a quote of Octopus last week for a standard tariff and it actually worked out a tad more epensive. Shame really because I can see the benifit of how much you spent each month, rather than 6 monthly. I did a spread sheet which prety much calculate monthly bills if I remember to put the readings in each month!
In theory on Octopus Flux rate my electric bill should fall £100 below negative which means charging up the PHEV (1300kWh per year for free), however we have laid out close on £9400 for our solar/battery set up, it is going to take at current energy rates 7 year to recuperate our outlay back.
In theory I have paid my electric bill 7 years in advance
