Not really, like I said in previous comment this morning ive had plasma and OLED for years and only suffered it once. So it wasn’t really a concern then The newer ones just add a layer of protection. Read my comment to mike this morning.
You get image retention before it becomes permament hence why panel refresh is there to clear it if ever you see it or just turn the tv off for half an hour (the old way).
I don’t think you are a heavy veiwer not watching much in the day and of an evening the soaps, maybe an hour or two of news and perhaps a film, plus a hour or so football match etc. So your content is varied on different channels or programs, which I cant see you having a problem even if it didn’t have the protection.
As with any TV don’t leave it on pause too long!
