We have been on Octopus Go for the past few years, prior to fitting solar panels and battery storage our yearly consumption was 3900 kWh our Outlander PHEV accounted for 1300 kWh, we opted to install a 7 kWh Podpoint EV charger even though our PHEV can only charge up at 3.6 kWh, Financially for us it makes sense.

Having fitted solar panels and battery we have now changed to Octopus ECO7, when Octopus Flux comes online we will change over.

With the current energy prices I struggle to understand why someone would want to charge up a PHEV which attracts a much higher AP and electric at current 34 pence kWh, especially when the very latest hybrids like the Toyota and Nissan Eforce are very fuel efficient and attract a much lower AP.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
