There is a rumour that the software update will change the time at when the warning is displayed on your dashboard. I.e. the filter will become more clogged before a warning.
This doesn’t seem like a true fix to me and could potentially mean the filter is even harder to clear as the driver won’t be making a conscious effort to clear the filter until it’s even more clogged.
