What is your max budget
I’m not buying a house. I’m looking to maximise my viewing experience with minimal outlay. If going from 43 to 55 as a uhd/4k screen does that – I’m happy. I’m not a latest tech kind of person, think of me as 5 years out of date.
Hisense A7H 58 inch £439 Costco / 55 inch £479 Currys (58 inch won’t be much bigger)
Hisense E7H 55 inch £419 Costco / £421 AO . com
Boyh the same TV panel but the A7H has a superior centre stand and not a wobbly as reported on the E version which has legs. Costco outweighs retail shops with its 90 day return policy and 5yrs guarantee compared to 2yrs elsewhere.
They are 4k QLED (quantum dots) which provides over a billion coulours for more of a vivid colour and clarity over a standard 4k TV which A6BG was. They both have a higher peak brightness than the A6BG which is actually the model below. None get bright enough to high light HDR (movies) although they have some wizzardry going on to mimmic HDR.
The A6BG you can see is not as crisp or vivid when watching real content.
The Phillips 8506 if you can find one at a similar price, the 8507 would be dearer.
I will have a look what else is decent at the price tomorrow. 🙂
