Interesting post with lots of good info. I have had to go back to the dealership twice with this issue despite motorway driving. Many new GT line KIA Sportage owners are experiencing this issue and I have been told the manufacturers are now working on fixing this fault. Not sure when a fix will be available. So watch this space.
