To charge my Ev overnight on Octopus’s Ev tariff costs me £2.16. That gives me 28kw which is about 112 miles range. Of course you can charge for more range but that falls outside of the 4hr cheap window.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Quite a few other considerations when on an Ev tariff to consider tho, the main one being that the rest of your expensive doesn’t become more expensive because an Ev tariff is usually cheap overnight and more expensive at other times. I have solar panels and a battery which means I rarely draw from the grid unless charging my EVs/battery so it works well for me.</p>
