The X80J and X81J share the same panel. It has an ADS (IPS family) panel (43″) VA panel for the 50″. The seller has has “0” feedback. Little used means nothing with ebay and he’s owned it for a year! The TV was first available in April 2021, meaning if its true he has only owned it a year why is he selling it after only a year!
As for the TV Its just OK for mixed usage viewing doesn’t punch in HDR (Youtube and Firestick movies) Its not an highly bright TV as seen a couple of pages back even against the (X80J/K) comparing with the TV wigwam has, as a comparison.
Personally I would not buy a TV from ebay especially used and new would have to be from a reputable shop who sells on ebay. As I could ring up the shop and get it direct with better protection rather than going through third party paypal to pay.
I can only give advice Mike thats why budget is important factor when I ask, what you do is up to you but please be wary of ebay.
Don’t get confused with the A80J I spoke with @wmcforum about yeaterday, as its a totally different TV being OLED. (going back to what I said previous – there is littler difference between OLEDs)
