    Just an update to this for anyone who is interested or in a similar boat re anxiety disorders and physically attending for ordering and collection:

     

    Spoke to the Applications Experience team at MB today. The lady I spoke to said she had never seen an off-site delivery approved. Which doesn’t bode well. Before I go any further, I am going to investigate appointee-ship via DWP because we are fortunate that I am potentially in a position to do that for my wife. This would be me working within the existing system to make it work. I certainly appreciate that if someone does not have a spouse, close family or friend willing and able to fill this role, it is very discriminatory to deny access to a swathe of MH claimants. I will keep this updated as and when appropriate, because I imagine we can’t be the only people in this predicament; it may be informative/helpful to some others.
