Took me 10 years and 6 applications before I got enhanced mobility and standard care.
I had been filling the claims in myself and getting nowhere, eventually a friend got involved and I had the CAB do the forms for me.
I eventually had a face to face and was lucky to get an honest assessor who told me there and then what she was going to recommend on the form.
The DWP finally gave it to me and I even got back payments from the first claim all those years ago (I was smart enough to keep a copy of everything).
