I’m confused now. I have a car already and had the gcb during covid when they paid it. I am due to collect new car this week so I get a gcb for the new car? So confused
I assume you had an early gcb payment of £350 gcb during covid. When you collect you new car next week you will recieve another £250 gcb soon after you pick your new car up, providing its in good condition. For the car you have now the gcb was £600 (350 + 250).
At the same time you will also recieve what is known as a new vehicle payment of £250. After the initial anouncement Motability increased the new vehicle payment to £750. When/after you collect your new car next week you may recieve this £250 and £500 later or £750 in one payment This is different to the gcp.
