some of the larger European car maufacturers aim/were aiming to repurpose the tried and true technology to allow Internal combustion engines to live in harmony alongside climate change requisites by producing zero harmful emissions. The Omega1 by Astron areospace was/is one such example.
Hence manufacturers have little choice to go along with the government green machines and be committed!
