@ajn your TV has USB input, however because you have the Gopro 8 its missing the mini HDMI port from previous models, so you would need the mod.
Your TV decode your gopro video files and the cheapest way is to buy an SD to USB converter. Similar to the one in the link or you can get a lesser version that just does Micro SD and SD.
