Our PHEV is a combination of both petrol and electric 16442 miles and 31 months average cost per mile 8.7 pence per mile, however this based on electric @ 5 pence kWh and varies petrol prices over the 31 months. At today current petrol and off peak electric prices 11.7 pence per mile At standard 34kWh and current petrol prices 14.5 pence per mile A petrol hybrid at todays current petrol price works @45 miles per gallon 15.5 pence per mile, taking into consideration the cost of a dedicated EV charger and the higher AP is the PHEV a viable alternative ? in my humble opinion is definitely no
Any reason other than connected to your solar, you aren’t using the the 2’3Kw granny charger?
