I prefer my riding away from traffic off road, however with these tyres I’ll have the best of both, the previous tyres were excellent away from road.. Grass, mud, gravel, sand with some road use when needed..
Canal towpaths and converted railway lines are about as off road as I get. The Schwalbe are puncture proof but weigh 1.5kilo each, but not much use for your type off roading @ajn, as they’re not even great on gravel. I once went head over a@@E when the front wheel locked whilst braking coming downhill on gravel. Stick to your knobblies. I had a 20 inch bruise across my stomach where the handle bars hit me.
