Morning Kezo most of the LG Oled I’ve seen have a 5 year warranty I’m afraid I can’t stop watching videos of them on YouTube the tech giant etc I’ve not ruled out the Sony X80k though ! I like a bargain and Costco will drop their prices on old 2021 models they change every week ! I really do realise now that my old picture doesn’t compare by the way the LG A1 Oled is a which Best Buy at 75% say great picture on SD and HD and fab sound ! Centre stand £22 from amazon be a nice set up around £600

The big majority of models getting reduced now are 2022 models making way for 2023 TV’s. There will be a few straglers from 2021.

There aren’t major advancements each year with Oled Tv’s, unless you were looking at sets that use evo /ex panels, which are out of your price range anyway. However there are slight improvements with each model year as outlined in my previous post with the A1 and A2. If there were little difference in the price I would always go with the latest model. There is more to worry about with LCD sets as my guide shows and Oled would have a better picture clarity again’st midrange led sets.

I cannot comment on the A1 been a which best buy as I do not follow them. However 10w+10w stereo sound output is average at best.

If I were looking now and had a choice of the A1 / A2 or Hisense A85 at £600 I would choose the A85h as it mirrors the specs of  screen on the LG C1 and the 2021 Hisense A9G which found its way into the A85h . This can be seen looking at the peak brightness of 800 nits and brightness at the 2%. 5%, 10% 50% windows, colour rec, dcp colour garmut and curve.

A quick reminder from previous comments – LG make the screens for all Oled TV’s.
