My long wait seems to be almost over.
Ordered a Spec 3, 1.6 petrol, 7 speed automatic DCT, 2wd on the 28th April, with an estimated 12 week wait. I stopped counting the weeks after Christmas and the DVLA wanted me to take a driving assessment. End of January I took my assessment, which went well. A few days later I got an email saying that the car was du to go into production 7th February. Yesterday I got a letter from the DVLA saying I had a 3 year medical renewal license and to send back my license to exchange the license. Well with the car potentially being delivered soon, I had to take my license and letter confirming that I will have a license, so that the dealer had a copy, just in case I didn’t have the replacement license by the time I pick my car up. So I went to the dealer today and I got an update that the car arrived in the country 13 th and it had the PDI on the 15, and is now waiting for transport to the dealer.
