I suppose it depends on where you stay, I can imagine there being few chargers in the more remote areas of the country (where they desperately need them). Myself there are maybe 14 chargers within 2 miles and 6 within a ten minute walk, 2 of which are still free.
Im sure everyone knows this but Zapmap will give you the location of all chargers in your location if you pop your post code into their charger finder thingy.
The chargers next to me are virtually all council chargers but 2 are scotrail and 2 belong to the local garage.
