    Options missing

Had car for a month only just realising things missing ..chip shortage. Is there anything that can be done now or is it too late. its not exactly the car I ordered especially with the hefty A.P

OP – Just to clarify something, you have entitled this thread ‘Options Missing’.

From that, can we deduce it is your ‘paid for’ options (i.e. Optional Extras) that are deficient, as opposed to items of standard trim/equipment that should have been included with the car – i.e. the vehicle’s standard specification for the trim level ordered – not optional?

If it is indeed paid optional extras that are deficient, have you got your original invoice showing your selected optional extras? Also did you pay for these optional extras at the time of ordering or were you charged for them when collecting the vehicle?

Was the lack of your paid optional extras pointed out or notified to you at any point?

If as the title post indicates, we are talking about ‘paid for’ optional extras, I can, to a point see why Motability maybe reluctant to get involved. However, if you paid in advance (or on the day) for deficient optional extras, then you may have a case to make a claim in the small claims court against the dealer to recover any monies paid for the optional extras which were not supplied with the vehicle.

Perhaps you could clarify exactly if these are your optional extras (being optional for the purchaser) or just deficient in standard equipment that should have been fitted as part of the basic vehicle?
