Hi Mike the LG UQ7500 has an IPS screen so is good for off axis viewing if you sit watching your TV at an angle,
It has a Backlit backlight which is overall better than edge lit on one side.
The picture quality is very good for a budget set for SDR, HDR and APP content content from a budget set.
Motion handling is prety good so is tone maping watching HDR content
Black level is okish
It has a low contrast ration, in a nut shell the ratio between the brightest whites and brightest blacks isnt the best.
It only has 2 HDMI inputs!!
I wouldn’t get to hooked up on 5yr guarantee. If it going to go wrong it will do withing the first 12months. (my top end LG only came with a years guaranttee)
Overall its at the budget end so your not going to get Rolly Royce performance. However it seems to perform relatively good for its price and has not long seen a price reduction of £120.
If I’m honest I would have liked to have seen you in a quantum dot TV if you wern’t going Oled
