I thought the 50% limit above the AP was to stop manufacturers and dealers from abusing the scheme?
They could put a car up for AP, and charge a ton for extras like paint, other features. It really is used to stop the dealers from ripping the customers off.
If you go to buy a new car, its worse…..all these extras add thousands on top of the base price.
