Interestingly I was speaking to someone about mine. Ordered in September and I was told it would be March latest. Then 3 weeks ago I was told it would be 24 weeks.
apparently MG do not deal with their own transport. So they have little to no traceability on where the vehicle is once it leaves the factory. So it’s x weeks to get to the water. Plus x weeks on the water. Then it gets to the uk and sits in the dock where they have a massive backlog and a lack of car transporter drivers (they’ve all gone to work for Amazon!) so the dealer ships invariably know the cars are on their way when the transporter pulls up on the forecourt!
