Mobility will not let dealers place orders on the mobility system before the 3 months….BUT….
you MAY be lucky.
Last Oct we waited for the new price list to come out as we knew that that would be the one we would use for our Nov 29th official order date from mobility (Thats the 3 months date we had from them) on the 8th Oct we had a test drive in a Peugeot e2008 and decided to go for one of them, at that point we couldn’t place a mobility order till the end of Nov but the dealership told us that they would be prepared to order one to our spec and colour in advance of that date if we wanted one. their mobility guy did all the mobility paper work for the order and raised the order on their system, he told us that they would order the car now (due to the longer waiting times) and then at the end of Nov he would place the order on the mobility system, well i was really expecting that they would really do that and expected that the paper work would justs it in the draw till the end of Nov and then and only then would they place a order on the factory for the car . turned out that they did place the order when they said and the car has now been sat it the dealerships showroom for a the last month waiting for the 1st March hand over, the dealer as sent me a list of 23 reg numbers to choose from too.
so in answer to your question, yes you can order early if the dealership want to be helpful but not officially via mobility, good luck,
PS if one dealership says no cant do it try another , the first Peugeot dealer said no, no one will do that but the next two called said no problem .
