Whilst it’s perfectly understandable that people may change their minds after ordering (and many do), with new vehicle lead times being as long as they are I am surprised that Motability allow a home charger to be fitted as soon as a new BEV has been ordered. Surely it would make more sense to not allow the charger to be fitted until the customer has a confirmed delivery date within the next few months?
