I was in the kitchen watching some rugby on my 28in LG smart TV, the wife was in the bath, and my granddaughter was in her bedroom, when there was a terrific crash.
Yup, the 9 year old 47 inch LG 3D smart TV came off it’s stand and smashed on the wooden floor of the lounge- no one in there & the doors were closed and had been for two hours!
Granddaughter Suggested we send for Ghostbusters , the wife said ‘ you must have done something ‘ as I protested my innocence — it was a mystery ?
Anyway, Curry’s had a sale on and we bought a 55 in. JVC Fire TV, for about 33% of the price we paid for the LG.
Early days ( 4 weeks ) yet, but seems ok
