I previously tried some 5% strength from the famous high street health food & vitamin shop, as I said, it did relax me but didn’t do much for sleep. They’re was something in it as it made me sweat like crazy. @Kezo, I’ve thought about melatonin and would probably get it from my GP due to my condition, but I’ve read it’s only for short term use. I’ve had insomnia since I was a child 50 odd years ago.

As your probably aware melatonin is produced naturally by your your body during darkness. Slentyo is just a brand name for slow release tablets and is un-licenced in children and can only be prescribed by a pediatrician-my youngest daughter is now 13 and has been on it since 2014 with no ill effects. The maximun dose she can take 10mg and thats whats she’s on. Someday’s it works others not and she takes it 30mins to an hour before bed in a low light room and there in no TV for at least an hour before. That’s enough of my blabbering on 🙂

Have you ever been refered to a sleep clinic (sleepstation) by you GP as that may help? Whether you would be prescribed melatonin is another matter and more likely sleeping pills.

As for CBD oil they all contain much of muchness the same thing such as a olive oil base and Cannabidiol and perhap’s Turpines. If 5% was making you sweat like you say, I wouldn’t try an higher strengh. When I took the last half  bottle from my father, it didn’t help my pain or help me sleep anymore.

Have you ever tried good Ashwaganda KSM66 tablets and Charmomile tablets  or taking an antihisamine tablet and Charomile tea before bed. My father takes these as the morphine he is on gives him terrable nightmares, which keeps him from wanting to sleep or preventing him sleeping. They have calmed him down so he able to fall asleep and does not awake with nightmares. They are for sleep disorders such as insomia etc. We get them from amazon but, they are available in most health stores. I can provide links if you want and they will be a cheaper alternative to CBD oils overall.

My first part shoul have been on what you have previously tried 🙂
