My father used it for is terminal prostrate cancer that has metasised to his bone’s. He uses what’s called entorage CBD oil but there is of course no entouage effect as that comes from the THC that is removed when making the oil. Has @POPS has already said it is only sold as a “novel foods” and by law has to contain less than 1% THC by law in the UK.
My father was using using Love CBD’s 2000mg Entourage oil £99.99 for 30ml (it comes in various strenghs from 800mg to 200mg) It did not help is pain or Make him drowsy or sleepy, although he carried on using it for some time in the hope it would slow his cancer or cure it as the myth suggests. Of course it did not and he no longer buy’s it.
The Hospital did not recomend My father use it or endorse the use of it. At the time he was diagnosed there was a trial going at the hospital for prescribed cannabis on some cancer patients that contained higher amounts of what matters is the THC content but, not enough to get you stoned. Saddly they said he was too old to take part.
I then did alot of research comparing the different types of CBD oil and their promses. Entourage oil seemed the best as it contained more of the Terpines found in the plant.
My father would not smoke a joint or chew on the propper stuff, he agrees it would have helped with pain and helped with sleep. He has severe breathing problems and couln’t smoke it anyway and probably the main reason he didn’t.
@Jojoe my daughter does not sleep good because of her disabilty and ASD and is prescribed Slenyto (Melatonin) There are other herbs your able to buy that may help and far cheaper than CBD oil.
