I’m going to phone the RAC soon. Can anyone tell me what paperwork I may need and also what would be the process, as with an ice car you jump it, drive it and it recharges the 12v battery.
Looked into it a bit further last night and it would appear that Kia, Hyundai and Tesla are just putting rubbish 12v batteries in their cars and most people tend to get a better battery themselves.
I’ve seen a good few folk carrying a small portable charger which will jump the battery and they range from £90 up. Small and easy to keep in the car, so it might be worth getting.
Also seeing people put boat batteries in their EVs as apparently it… Ah I’ve forgotten lol. But quite a few putting them in.
My dealer is two streets away say about 400m so just need to be able to drive to them and see what’s up
