I think with alot of the problem still revolves around days of old where China produced only cheap tat. Don’t get me wrong they do, but there are more and more quality manufacturers in China these day’s. I completely get it.
My thoughts above on the U8H & U7H were more geared towards putting the £100 he would have put towards headphones to a better panel tech, thus far superior picture quility any eye popping brightness. Then by cheaper headphones or save up for them after he fot a TV. I do agrre Mike should stick tight to his budget. If Mike’s budget is up to £600 hands down I would take the Hisense U85H Oled over the Samsung Q60b as they both share the same point, it will have far superior picture quality with full local dimming, better contrast, depth etc. I’d be surprised if Mike saidit wasn’t bright enough for his room given the fact my brother has had one for is brick conservortary with lots of windows and my lounge has windows that get the sun all day. However I must stress Mike has got to be one to decide.
