When the dealer sent these invoices over I asked on the phone when he called what was the final amount I owed and he said £2689 which is what I payed at the dealer ship drove out with the car then 2 hours later they rang me asking for the £753 I think it what it actually is that they are saying I owe. I didn’t even realise I shouldn’t be charged the rfl

To get all the ducks in a row and to get to the bottom of this:
1. Exactly what vehicle did you order (Make/model/trim/engine/gearbox) – it should have stated this on the Motability website ‘My account’ part after you placed the order?
2. What was the actual Motability Advance Payment of the ordered vehicle at the time ordered? (Also was it ordered in the current Motability quarter or a previous quarter)?
3. Did you order any optional extras with the vehicle? If so, what optional extras and cost incl VAT?
4. Was the vehicle ordered a ‘stock’ or ‘already built’ vehicle’?
5. What exact vehicle (Make/model/trim/engine/gearbox) did you receive on collection day – ie was the vehicle (excluding any extras) exactly as ordered?
6. Did it have any/all the extras you ordered?
7. Did it have extras fitted that you didn’t order. If so what? Also where you made aware before taking over the vehicle (pin entry)?
I think you can forget all about road tax/road fund licence issue UNLESS you also have a private vehicle on which you already claim the disability tax exemption?
The second invoice appears a dealer invoice they usually send to Motability – suitably amended. So I think you can ignore that one.
How much are the dealership asking for as you have stated both £740 and £753?
What exactly are they saying this further amount is for?
