I don’t know that Marc how much is a pair of good earbuds ? Kezo I’ve just read that the only difference between the Samsung the Samsung Q60 and Q65 is the stand ! That Costco price for the 50 inch is great with the 5 year warranty is it a one off £15 membership or do you have to pay £15 a year to cover the warranty ?
I was of the understanding the Q60B was the base set and the Q65B had an extra port or two such as HDMI as in when my parents had the Samsung 6300 it had an extra HDMI than the 6000, but that was 12/13 years ago. I cannot find any concrete evidence online realting to the UK and Samsung’s site is like my ar$e for getting full specs. However Samsung have the Q60B listed for £599 and the Q65B £699, both stands look identical. A quick look on JL Q65B and Curry’s Q60B they seem identical. What matters though is the panel (screen) are identical in both sets.
As far as I’m aware Costo honour the warranty whether your membership current or not. From past experience as long as you keep your original membership number as I did when I sent laptop for repair in 2015 I had no issues. That said Iwill read the latest T&C’s later. That said if you continued membership for 5yrs the 50″ still works out cheaper than RS. Buying the Q60B direct from Samsung works out cheaper still overall if you take into account if you have to buy 5yrs membership. Costco £539 + £75 membership, RS £649 and Samsung direct £599 (bare with me I will double check Costco t&c’s later)
From my point as said yesterday the 43″ would not be seen as an upgrade to your current 40″ in picture size. The Bezels on newer TV’s are alot slimmer than your current/older TV’s therefore the 50″ will be roughly the same sze overall to you current TV, if you get what I mean.
Earbud’s do you want to pay £20 £50 £100 £200 – if you give us an idea we can find the best for your budget and don’t dismiss headphones.
