I can’t see the blue bay pictured in the article, is it around the corner. Is there more than one bay? What if I happen to follow another blue badge user in, am I then expected to wait for them to finish even if there are other non-accessible bays available. Or will they allow me to use two bays, assuming there are two available? An app to ask for help does not make it accessible, some may need or like to have the option of help, but then how do you get in and out of your car to use the facilities, maybe OK when getting fuel as it takes very little time, but being forced to sit in your car whilst it chargers is not good enough.
And don’t get me started on Access For All UK. Pushing each other around in a wheelchair is not a valid way of finding out about access requirements, no wonder so many places are still inaccessible for many.
