    Just picked up my tiguan from motability. Advanced payment price had been reduced by £400 on motability website. I was charged the previous price, £400 more expensive. Is this correct that you pay the price in was when ordered and not reduced price ? Thanks David

    Yes, that is correct and is in line with Motability’s policy.

    However some dealers may have been obliging if asked in advance and cacelled on paper the original order and re-orderied it at the lower AP (same vehicle, just a paperwork excercise really) however there is no obligation for them to do so.

    As you have now accepted the vehicle, there is nothing to be done.

    Just remember it next time you are in the market for a vehicle and perhaps seek a more obliging dealer!
