It also happens if you have smart/auto brake regen on and you get too close to the car in front regardless of if you’re using cc/scc or not. Hope this helps
Thanks for the try, but unfortunately not, there is nothing in front of me when it happens. But there are vehicles to the left, what with it hugging the left and this phantom braking, I am starting to wonder if something is out of alignment as it definitely doesn’t sound normal.
Today I got a collision warning message flash up just from driving down a street with parked cars either side, first time in just over 2 months of driving the car.
I would also be pleased if it saw vehicles in the distance and started to brake gently, at the moment it leaves braking to late and the braking is too heavy for my liking, changing the following distance seems to make little difference regards braking, as I still feel the need to take over and I have been driving cars with ACC for years now, so it isn’t a confidence thing.
