I think that it’s generational. The young upwardly mobile which all the manufacturers are chasing live on their iPhones, iPads and android phones. They are happy with cars becoming extensions of their mobiles and why Tesla have done so well.
my current Superb Estate has standard knobs, but I have to say I’m not really bothered about my next car going ipad.
