Kezo I honestly don’t think Hisense are built to last yes Costco give a 5 year guarantee on this but other sellers don’t on Hisense TVs I think it’s 2 years ! Yes Samsung only give 1 year but they have many 5 year promotions ! Wigwam yes I drive a Toyota the make of the most reliable cars in the world ! We could argue all day about TVs cars and bbc weather ladies but at the end of the day let’s all be happy ! And yes wigwam can’t wait to see the OLED picture on breakfast

I have a Hisense fridge/freezer for over 6 yrs and a Hisense induction hob. In comparrison also have a Yamada 15″ LCD TV that is over 20yrs old and out lasted any T.V Ive had.I had never heard of it before when I purchased it and still haven’t to this day!

As for this Hisense TV’ – it has a screen made by LG as for the inside workings they are made for many manufacturers of TV’s. This can be verified when you search for a PCB as I did for my previous TV – also fits this make or that make. So why won’t it last.

You percieve thing’s by the badge which is utter nonsense these days with 99.9% of stuff made in Asia including you Iphone, in the same way Volvo is Chinese. If you hadn’t heard much Samsung you’d be saying there crap and won’tr last. You think Android is crap, what are you going to do when Androind Automotive come’s to car’s in a couple of years. If it was that crap Mercedes and the likes wouldn’t be planning on using it. Sorry Mike but, your perception is wrong in today’s world.

LED Tv’s reach a higher peak brightness than Oled end of but, as of today Oled is the TV you can buy. If you want something close to the clarity of Oled your looking at Samsungs Quantum Dot-Oled such as their S95b set. That said Samsung do not make Oled TV’s never have, even with their latest claim to do so.  Oled is is self contained OrganicLlight Emitting Diode – Samsungs Quantam dot is just LED.

If I’m not mistaken Mike you only watch standard TV channels in both SD and HD -So why give yourself a headache and get yoursel in a twist, when you current TV works just fine?
