    You will be classified as an undesirable. Oscarmax, and will be surcharged for non-compliance with the programme. In reality if you’re not being billed for energy you can’t be taxed on it.

    I have always been undesirable. At present Octopus Go is for EV/PHEV customers only 12 pence 4 hours off peak and 42 pence normal rate, but only pay 4.1 pence for outgoing export, I can see they may be able to police this tariff, however like me several Octopus Go customer have solar panels and batteries, Octopus are happy because they get cheap energy and 4.1 being exported plus the battery storage banks balances their grid.

    You then have ECO7 for those on giving 7 hour off peak at 18 pence and 42 pence normal rate open to anyone.

    You then have Octopus Agile which is a variable tariff again open to anyone.

    I actual generate considerably more electric energy than including charging up the PHEV, for about 9 months of the year the PHEV does need to charge from the grid

    Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
