I’m not anti ev having had one but at this moment in time they suit some people but not others. I’m one of those that they don’t suit, however I expect that to change over the next few years. Whether the UK will be up to speed by 2030 is up for debate. There needs to be a massive acceleration in the installation of public charge points to get to where we need to be. Personally, I don’t think we will get there by the deadline and I don’t see any viable option for many who don’t have the facility to charge at home. It all looks badly thought out by the Government and its advisors.
