They’ve a partnership with BP Pulse network where you’re a subscribed member for the term of your lease and get discounted rates. This means the 150KW chargers are 55p instead of 69p, although it must be noted this may not be the cheapest around. It’s hardly a shock that charging prices have shot up, just look at domestic bills, despite their heavy protection, let alone business contracts.

Yep, it’s something at least I guess, but is it enough.

I have heard some companies are even using surge pricing now, when demand is high(mainly in london). This is really going to effect those who cannot charge at home and make the costs higher than now using an ice car for many, that rely on a car for their mobility.

I just think the whole Ev policies have not had any thought to disabled drivers needs or the costs as we reliant on the car for our mobility, We cannot cycle for example or even use public transport in many cases.

Many would like to get an ev but only if you can charge at home is it viable really, removing the 20% vat could help or capping how much can be charged. Seems to me there’s no real plan, just a free-for-all.

Where will it leave those on the scheme not able to charge at home? At a serious disadvantage.
