I guess as laura has not heard anything from Mb Since ordering with the dealer or thing the dealer had placed the order, that also means probally she has not had the letter with the pin in it either from mb.
So that to me would suggest no order was placed onto the mb system either, never mind the dealer not ordering the car.
If that is the case Mb will most likely say they have no order details and one was never placed with them at all and to speak to the dealer and that you must pay any new ap or as many have said if cars not on the scheme now, you got no chance unless it comes back on.
Personally, I have never had these issues as the dealer finds a car already unallocated that is available sooner than one If i placed a new order and I always was open to going with one of those and was flexable on colour etc.
Often the cars arrived well before the handover date on most. Might be a little different now with delays but dealers i have used always been great and some others you just get a feeling from the start they not to interested. Like my local ford and skoda. often they don’t even have a car to test drive and tell you to go to another dealer to test drive that model as they have one. sod that.
One good thing could be you could place another order now of something that wasn’t on the scheme back then.
