I’m due to change from the Ateca in July but can’t find anything that would justify the AP of £2,000-£2,900.
The e-Power X-Trail looked interesting but a couple of reports say it only gets mid 30’s in the real world, I can’t see the point of fitting an electric drive system that doesn’t get any better mileage than say a decent 1.5 petrol would get without it, even the Ateca (1.5 petrol manual) manages around 36mpg doing mixed shortish runs, going to a hospital appt. yesterday it managed 46mpg doing 50mph (restricted speed limit in place) up the A1 to Newcastle.
If I can get in the QQ (I had a mk2 version previously) and you get decent mpg out of it it could be a contender. Otherwise sticking with the current Ateca Xcellence Lux would be the obvious choice, reasonable mileage, heated front screen, heated seats, remote boot etc. etc. The only down side id the 19″ tyres are absolute pants in snow or wet conditions.
