@kezo said Probably due to the article focusing on BEV’s and not ICE, as the title suggests “EV wait times are shrinking”
But that’s my point its aimed to be anti Ev, provoking usual anti Ev remarks by people who have no experience of an Ev other than dog whistle articles like this one. It could be that lead times for all cars are dropping but that’s not the sort of news story we want to read (or is it?) Elliot my scheme provider isn’t great so I’ve no doubt delivery can be improved, think you would struggle to get ev6 or Ioniq 5 this year tho.
I think you are missing something Ian – A typical ICE car doesn’t see the extended wait times an EV does in the retail market.
Take the Sportage FHEV my neighbour is still waiting for theres compared to someone I know who orderd an ICE version within the same week and has already taken delivery of his. Granted they aren’t EV’s but the princople with anything thats got any form of electrification is taking longer.
Personally I think you are taking things to literally trying to make something out of nothing. I understand your pro EV I really do and thats your choice. Maybe lighten up a bit, rather than trying to preach or looking for something that ain’t there 🙂
