<p style=”text-align: left;”>No problem lol,i not sure I still understand and maybe it’s my meds lol the car is pretty much mine according to the dealer as its apparently now assigned to Mr but he said I can’t track it,surely he would have someway of tracking this as he could see it was at the port,just to confirm its not been sold or given to anyone but me,hope that makes sense
</p>
No I’m certain its my meds.
So your dealer has said the car is pretty much yours and assigned to you, but, the dealer has said he can’t track it ?
Now we seem to be on the same tracks. I agree its unusual he can’t track it given its at a docks here in the UK.
Hyundai for example – when the car arrives at the docks it held awaiting a PDI, then the VIN number is sent to the dealer and the cusomer collects in 2-3 weeks providing there is no backlog with transporters. The dealer however can track the car from manufacture to and from the docks with an arrval date (ish) it will arrive at the dealers. As far as I’m aware all manufacturers are able to track vehicles.
My advice is to ask the dealer for the VIN, if they dont know it or wont give it to you ask for their order number. Then contact x manufacturer UK with the order number, your name for an update by email or social media. If the car is actually yours they will get back to you with all the tracking information and likely dealership deliver date.
If nothing comes back in your favour, then question the dealership on it.
Have you recieved confirmation of your car on your online Motability account.
