Hi all, You seem all very helpful and knowledgeable chaps, I wonder if I could pick your brains. This is our first motability car, and we are after an SUV with a very short lead time……Would anyone be able to give an opinion on the options we’ve narrowed down to: Seat Ateca – don’t know which version Kia Sportage ISG2 Nissan Qashqai 1.5 Nconnecta Mazda CX5 Then there’s also Tiguan, Tucson, 3008… I know virtually nothing about cars or the waiting times so even if we can strike one of the overly long list it would help….

As Mike says ring around a few dealers first to see lead times, It also worth enquiring if they have any stock od dealer order vehicle they will allow you to have on Motability. I would advise agaisn’t the Sportage or Tuscon as there is an issue with the GPF (gasoline particulate filter) similar to a dpf on a diesel. There is alot of complaints on the Sportage here. There is also alot of complaints if you do a search on Tuson andSportage forums. The other thing is the mpg is terrible, I’m getting 26-29mpg localaly with my Tuscon which shares the same engine as the Sportage The Qahqui is a nice car, especialy the E-power NConnecta or Tecna trim. There also the Skoda Karoq thats worth a look along with the Peugeot 3008 and I surpose MG. Whats the maximum advance payment your willing to pay, as this would help us to suggest appropiate vehicles ?

Its also worth looking in the Motability offers thread on here for any offers on stock cars!
