If the Tekna+ comes on the scheme I’d definitely consider that, although the mpg that I’ve seen reported a few times now is less that I get currently from our BMW X1 2.0i 4WD Auto.
The boot space issue is interesting. A few Motability cars back we looked at the Qashqai and the X-Trail. Both were on the scheme at the time (old models, obviously). We discounted the Qashqai as the rear legroom and boot were both too small for us. The interior quality was quite low rent as well, but I think they’ve addressed that since. We then looked at the X-Trail and when I measured the boot width and depth I was surprised that it was identical to the Qashqai. No bigger at all. I’m surprised if they’ve not addressed that.
