Looking for advice, I ordered a mini electric level 3 back in October,I paid the deposit upfront with my options. Having checked todays price list my cars deposit has dropped £1000, should the dealer reimburse me the £1000 when I collect my car in March? thanks John
Certainly don’t leave it until you collect the car John. It’s a very easy process for a dealer to cancel and reorder on the Motability system. It takes a matter of minutes and has no bearing whatsoever on your actual order with the dealer. It’s purely admin. My BMW dealer did it without me even asking when the AP dropped just £100, let alone £1,000. The only problem that you might have is that you have paid the AP up front, so in this case the dealer has to refund you, so it won’t be as straightforward but it’s certainly not impossible and definitely worth asking.
