if the new X1 had been added I might have been tempted to cancel my Ariya order and order the new X1, both of us love the X1 we have now. The x2 is a old design now and expensive for the PHEV, I wasn’t impressed with the PHEV when I had one as a courtesy car
That’s interesting as I haven’t driven a PHEV yet. Yes, the X2 is end of line now and will soon be replaced. Ideally we’d like something a bit bigger than the X1 next time and I’m not impressed that they’ve ditched the brilliant iDrive circular controller, as it’s much safer and easier to use on the move than 100% touch screen systems. They have at least added AutoHold, the lack of which is the one thing that still irritates me with our otherwise flawless current X1.
The one we had was a Msport with a lot extra spec and I found it sluggish but the battery was very low and I didn’t plug it in to charge. One other thing I missed was the gear change on the steering wheel.
The idrive is definitely something I’m going to miss, it’s just so nice and safe to use on the move.
