Just to let you know my MG5 was less than a year old when I got rid of it as my company car. I travel all over the UK with my work and there was no way I could keep living with having an extra 3 hours added to my working day charging it up. It was my boss who suggested we got rid of it and I certainly didn’t argue.
Or it’s a hit to the economy, In the fact you cannot get to all the places, you could in the time you could before.
It was the same when they dropped the speed limits around London to 50mph from 70 mph. Suddenly it was not possible to get the delivery’s done that could be done before. As even over 5 hours of a 9 hour shift that’s 100 miles you’ve lost the ability to get to add that to every business affected and the costs are huge.
So you have to get another van and another driver which causes more congestion and more pollution and more cost to the consumer.
