I hope I’m being fair, it’s easy to preach that dino fuel is the devil and will run out (it won’t any time soon) or that EVs are much cheaper and much better to run, and locally they really are.
I would say thats a fair and balanced reply 🙂 I would also agree that EV’s driven locally are much cheaper to run 🙂
I have just read your other post in great depth regarding your expierience with the MG ZS and in some respects the newer long range model. My main concern at this moment in time is if I have taken the family to the zoo 100miles away and I then receive a call just as I got there, that I need to be 200 miles away to hopefuly get there in time to say a final goodbye. I’d never forgive myself if I had to stop for 40mins or more to charge my car, thats if a charger is near by. Even with half a tank of fuel I’d have enough to get there, with only the worry of circumstances beyond my control such as road works etc to contend with.
At this current time in my life I have choice and by having them those circumstances of worry about charging are within my control should such an instance happens.
Anyway thanks for your post, it was a pleasure to read 🙂
