One off like the easter get away, school holidays getaways of which there more than one a year and every bank holiday getaway’s. What it highlights is there are huge problems and they must be worse if you have certain disabilities or those with certain special needs.

The point is the issue’s do exist even on the best/fastest charging network(according to some) and waiting for hours to charge is not something I will or want to contemplate.

Infact on the same day I did over 400 miles and drove for 8hrs, 200 there and 200 back and didn’t make a stop once, except for at our destination and no ability to charger there.  Then the next day It took less than 5 mins to fill the car up again and off we went to Meadowhall shopping and then dropped my eldest to her’s and then we came back home again, another 115 mile round trip. Some not seeing this a big issue at all, is it because they can charge at home and don’t venture very far very often, I would imagine.

Imagine when i pick up my daughter on a friday from school, I am in a queue needing to charge up, what do you think the school would say, when no one is there to collect her. I need the reliability to be where i need to be at a set time, not stuck somewhere waiting to get enough energy to get me to my destination and then home, where also we cannot charge as many cannot. From what i have seen it’s a regular problem for many.
